Sloane Coffee Roastery El-Salvador – testing
I used two preparation methods for this coffee, espresso and ibric. I have to say that you can sense that itțs going to be a great cup of coffee from the moment you open the pack and smell it. And so it is. Ițve tried three espresso variants, prepared for 35, 30 and 25 seconds of extraction, for 30 ml of coffee, using 17g of ground coffee in a double portafilter.
The middle version seemed to be the most balanced, with light roasted nutty flavors, slight acidity, and medium body.
Done with the ibric, the acidity and fruity notes are more prominent, but it loses the full of personality body.
I didn’t get to test it on the filter, but I will get back once I do. As a conclusion, El Salvador from Sloane Coffee Roaster is an exceptional coffee, that deserves to be tried at home. Great job guys!
